Known locally as La Dame de fer, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most recognized landmarks in the world – and some might argue it’s the most popular attraction in Paris. Built originally as a temporary structure for the World’s Fair in 1900, it still stands over 100 years later! Take a step back to admire the 301.8m of steel, comprising of 18,000 individual pieces – you can forgo the hard hat but make sure you have your camera at the ready.
